I created this piece of wildlife art as a result of feeling hugely inspired and captivated by Norse culture after watching ‘Vikings’ recently.

Corvids have always been my favourite group of birds, purely for their intellectual ability and the ‘otherworldly’ sense about them.

Odin was a Norse god of wisdom and Huginn and Muninn (meaning thought and memory) were his two accompanying Ravens. They were said to travel the world and bring back valuable information to him.
