I seem to be working on about 15 projects simultaneously at the moment, so I have my plate full for sure!
But this work in progress is the nearest to being complete.
It features a male and female house sparrow. I always watch these little birds feed outside my study window and they’ve inspired me to paint for a while now.
Gilding gold flakes are also a feature of this painting, something I haven’t tried before but I love the way it has turned out!
